Welcome to my bookshelves! Well, one side of them. I rearrange our house in little ways almost constantly, but especially in these quarantine times. I wanted to share a few details from our current living room shelves because they carry a lot of fun details and special stories. So, let’s begin, shall we?
The blue porcelain cat was my grandmother’s. I have a lot of details from my grandparent’s all over my house. The books peeping behind the chair were actually my grandfather’s. I love using big coffee table books like Fashionably Selby and Elements of Style to compliment some of his books (the smaller blue ones) around the house. I recently discovered this vase at WalMart for less than $5 and this cute little plant at Target. Our living area is full of gold, so this frame is perfect! It is currently unavailable, but there is a similar one here and here.
Absolutely adore white pillows like this one. I recently discovered this one on sale at Target which might be why it is out of stock now. However, I found its twin here.
One of my best friends painted these books and gave them to me at a bridal shower. I absolutely love them! The fact that one of my very closest friends handmade them makes them even more special!
Can you tell I am obsessed with the OpalHouse line at Target yet? This vase is also from that line. The pottery piece next to it is Colonel Reb, the old Ole Miss mascot. Hotty Toddy! 🙂
This vase was given to me recently by a friend and it is so special! I love the way these white hydrangeas look in it.
This plant at Target is such a great way to add greenery to your space. They have a ton of cute little plants right now that are so affordable!
