I’m quite the overthinker. Why is there a red line underneath overthinker? Is that not even a word? Brb, googling. Oh, it’s over-thinker. Red line gone. Moving on.
Anyways, I tend to analyze everything to a point where I convince myself that these far-fetched “things” I have thought are reality. Did that even make sense? I think everyone does this to an extent. I listen to my friends overthink their problems and they listen to me overthink mine. And then they politely bring me back down to earth and straight up tell me how bizarre the things I am saying actually sound. Thanks guys. This is one of the 4983745 reasons I keep you around.
How many quotes are there that revolve around the “don’t worry, be happy” motto? A lot. Pinterest that ish, there are thousands. The one I typed out above just showed up on my feed this morning. It’s a good one to think about. There’s only one “time” you should be concerned with and that is right now.
Now is the only time that matters. What good will thinking about tomorrow do? I mean, plan things, by all means, but don’t sit in the now thinking about something that hasn’t happened yet or worse, that has already happened. Yesterday and tomorrow are not now. Now is now. Are you tired of seeing the word “now” yet? Go listen to “Work” by Rihanna and Drake and get tired of hearing that word, then come back.
There’s no time like the present, right? Truth be told, we may not be here tomorrow. How pathetic would it be to know that we spent our last day concerned with something that would never come?Focus on today. Take life daily. Then, whatever comes tomorrow will be even better, a surprise. Don’t let worry steal your day.
I now have “Work” stuck in my head. 😐
PEACE OUT FRIENDS + HAVE A FABULOUS “NOW”

If you are consumed with worry, you are experiencing some of the following physical and emotional symptoms that are robbing you of spiritual maturity.
